Chapter 5: The Adamantoise Struggle Part 1

After Team RWBY Successfully went through they're training with noctis and the others, they are on there way back to the Leide region to stop by hammerhead along the way team rwby discuss what they're final challenge would be but after yang coming clean and told everyone straight up..ruby,weiss and blake was shocked as ruby took quick research with her scroll as the adamantoise currently resides in the leide region and is somewhere under a huge rock formation.

As noct and the gang maybe aware of team rwby now know what they're final challenge will be.

HammerHead, 12:59 PM

As Team RWBY Comes entering as they park the car, noticing noctis and the others was already out waiting for them as they stepped out of the car.

Weiss quickly approaches them still in shocked from hearing the news. "You guy's can't be serious about us fighting something that is so big!!.." noctis blinks confused as he grins looking back towards the others. "What are you talking about?..hehe"


"Yang told us about that final trial you guy's mentioned!, fighting that adamantoise whatever that name was!" weiss looks back at yang as she chuckles rubbing the back of her head. "hehe..i didn't expect you to take it to the heart this bad..."

weiss cries out of spite as ruby walks over and pulls her back. "Since you guy's trained so hard..we thought about testing you guy's on something big!..real big!" prompto says in a excited tone"

"if that's the case...mind telling us where it is hiding at?, ruby mentioned in the car that the adamantoise hides under a rock formation." black clarifies to noct and the others.

gladio looks over to his left and points directly towards the large mountain not so far in the distance. "there..." team rwby turns towards the direction where gladio was pointing.

"If it's right there..why isn't..you know woke up and the ground should be shaking?" blake asks towards gladio.

"the adamantoise lay's in slumber for who know's how long..in certain times it would rise in case of any threats nearby small or big" ignis says replying to blake's question. "so that way..once you 4 are close enough..it knows who it's threats are."

"so it's gonna try to kill us?!.." weiss yells out at gladio. "don't worry, the big guy should be very slow to attack anyway...with you guy's in battle it's not gonna touch y'all."

weiss calms down. "if you say so.." ruby thinks to herself. "okay..so should we get going now or?..."

noctis nods. "First, me and the guy's is gonna meet up with cindy for a bit, you 4 already met her right?.."

Team RWBY Recalls back to when they were pushing they're car into hammerhead and to the point where they're were about to leave back on course for they're journey.

"We did meet it, she helped us fixed the car because of a certain someone kept going even when i said this was far enough!" weiss angrily looks over to yang. 'Hey!..now you mad over this again?!"

"she was really nice!" ruby says gradually. blake crosses her arms. "when she was working on the car, it felt like someone else was supposed to be here?..." blake looks at noctis and the others as the 4 became stun as they all nod heading for the garage.

ruby looks before they turned around by the expressions on they're faces. "s-something wrong?.."

"n-no ruby!..you guy's stay here!" noctis says as he and the others walk over to the garage, Team RWBY was left confused as ruby,yang and weiss looks over to blake. "Umm blake did you say something that triggered them or something?.." yang asks blake concerned.

"No..all i said was seeing that garage the last time we're here..it felt like someone else was supposed to be here for some reason..." blake says sounding a bit worried as ruby grips her fist as she walks ahead of them.

"R-ruby?!..where you going?" yang yelled out. "i'm gonna see what's going on!.." ruby says as she was tilting her head to the garage, yang sighs and follows her. "get back here!..."

"You dolts!..noctis told us to stay put!" weiss follows them. "might as well..." blake follows up behind weiss.

Team RWBY walks over to the garage as noctis and the others are at having a conversation with cindy about important matter, they all stopped and lean against the wall as ruby slowly leans in looking in along with weiss,yang and blake watching on what's going on.

"So cid is gone huh?..." noctis crosses his arms as he looks over to the others. "when was the last time you guy's saw him?" noctis questions gladio,ignis and prompto.

"if i could recall...i can't remember the last time we were in contact with him..sadly" ignis clarifies to noctis. "yeah..what iggy said, so busy fixing things in insomnia..things went by fast" gladio sighs.

"Cindy are you taking it well?..." prompto looks over to cindy worried. "......" prompto looks at the others as they were worried as well before looking back at cindy.

"...i'll be alright." cindy says slowly shifting her frown into a smile, the 4 stood confused as they look towards one another. "umm..you sure cindy?..."

"you betcha!..besides paw paw wouldn't want me to be like this anyway." noctis and the others continue to stand there confused before they smile at the change of mood she went through.

"this was so sudden..." noctis says gradually. "also..i hadn't met that group of 4 a while back..they remind me of you guy's"

ruby smiles as she lost grip of the wall and falls onto the ground along with yang,weiss and blake fall on top of one another. "Gah!!.."

Quickly noctis,gladio,ignis,prompto and cindy looks over noticing the group on the ground. "You mean us?...hehehe" ruby chuckles looking up.

suddenly the ground begins to shake uncontrollably as the shockwave from the ground felt like it was moving. "H-huh?!.." team rwby quickly got up and look around. noctis nods smiling knowing what this was. "it's time.." he turns back towards gladio,ignis and prompto as he turns his attention towards cindy.

"Cindy..i suggest you get everyone here in the shop where it's safe.." noctis tells cindy as he was worried about the other people currently here.

"gotcha!.."

Noctis,Ruby and the others ran out onto the street and stare off to the distance as they see a giant turtle like head rises from the ground letting out a huge roar coming out from it's dormant.

"The size of that thing!..it's huge!." yang says loudly after hearing the roar echoing all the way back to hammerhead.

"you guy's think you're ready for this?.." noctis looks over to team rwby as this was the final decision before they set off.

ruby stares towards noctis and with a cheeky smile she nods as she looks back to her team mates nodding as well full with confidence. "we're ready!..let's go!"

Team RWBY Charges into battle as they ran towards the awakening adamantoise,once it see's them in his sights..the final challenge shall begin..and will they survive?...
