RWBY Fantasy ~ Chapter 16

Chapter 16: Ramuh The Fulgurian Part 2

With Ruby and the gang re-enters back to duscae due to the rare ocassion of lightning striking one area,the team went to go investigate thinking it maybe ramuh,once they see a perfect view of the lightning white fang was already there heading to the location of the lightning,once then yang steps on the gas peddle and rushes towards the location before white fang finds ramuh's power.

The car was parked near the road as team rwby was walking up towards the path sneaking up behind white fang members heading towards what looks like a cave,the team hid behind a rock to think of a plan. "..by the looks of it..there are about 7 members..shou-" Ruby was cut off by yang as she stood up clenching her fist. "let me handle this..i wanted to see what these other gauntlets do anyway." Yang reaches down moves the fur out of the way attached to her pants revealing gauntlets near her foot.

"That came with the outfit yang?" Yang nods before she steps back down. "yang..no need to be so rash against them..just knock them out." Blake says turning back but yang was already gone.

Suddenly the three heard shots fired up ahead down the path and noises of white fang members screaming before they got knocked out. "...nevermind.." Ruby,Weiss and Blake runs over and see's 7 of the white fang members are out cold on the ground as they look forward yang had one of them by the collar before she punches him sending him flying against a wall. ".......Wow..that was fast." Weiss looks around as blake walks over to yang and puts her hand on her shoulder. "yang you alright?"

Yang slowly turns around as her eyes shifts from red back to normal. "i-i'm fine!..." Yang looks around and see's what she did. "hehe..a bit to far huh?.."

"n-no it's fine." Ruby walks up ahead and see's a entrance into a cave. "guy's take a look at this.." Ruby calls over for there attention as they walk over. "i'm guessing ramuh's power is in there.."

"i suggest 2 of us go in..while 2 of us guard out here..." Blake clarifies to yang,ruby and weiss.

"I'll go..with ruby..sister's need to watch out for each other!" Yang puts her arm around ruby before she pushes her away. "okay okay!.." Ruby pouts.

"it settles it then..me and weiss will stay out here..in case if any more white fang comes around..or any of these goons try to run for it." Blake looks down at the knocked out white fang members.

"got it..let's go ruby." Yang leads the way as ruby follows up behind her as they disappear into the darkness of the cave.

"...they better be careful...h-hey blake is it true that grimm mostly don't be in caves?...i might be wrong but just wondering."

"..no..this cave must been here for a long long time..so it might be impossible..." Blake looks over to weiss before looking back down the path.

On the side of the cave was a sign. "Beware of daemons..."

Inside of the Cave

Both ruby and yang carefully walking down the rocky path entering the depths of the cave as flash lights came on beside the clothes they are wearing. "..didn't know who ever made these attached little flash lights to our jackets!" Yang says looking at her. "you can say that again...h-hey yang once we're out of here..where do we go next?"

Yang held her chin for a sec thinking. "ozpin gave us tickets for that ferry he said..so we head to altissia next..for the next astral leviathan."

"Oh alright..it's gonna a while till we get there..h-hey maybe we can contact and get jaune and others somehow...they be safe there."

"yeah..but remember ruby once we get ramuh and head for altissia..white fang is after us remember we don't want the others to get hurt or even worst."

"your making it sounds like they can't defend themselves!.." Ruby stops and turns back to yang. "i know ruby..but those soldiers they picked up from somewhere..none of there weapons effected them if i recall back at beacon academy...something must be powering them.

"you sure?.." Yang stares at her directly in the eyes. "i'm sure of it...once we're out of here i got a new plan..where ever white fang is we must found out what the heck is powering those soldiers...i go over what we do with blake and weiss once we're do-

Suddenly the cave begins to rumble a bit like thunder striked from the inside. "..sounds like we're getting close an-"

Ruby and yang went silent as they heard gurgle like noises from the shadows as they both pulled out there weapons. "...that don't sound like grimm at all.." Suddenly out of the shadows a goblin like figure jumps out towards yang and ruby as ruby took notices and slices the goblin in half as it decays into shadows. "WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT THING?!.."

"...What ever it was..it seems we woke up more." Yang points down the rocky path as more noise erupts down below. "...since it was that easy to kill one of them..this should be easy..let's go yang!" Ruby runs down towards the path as yang nods following up behind ruby.

As both weiss and blake was standing outside they heard gun shots noises from inside that cave as it sounded like it was coming from yang's gauntlets. "..h-hey blake i thought you said there would be no grimm in there."

"i did..but it has to be something else in particular." Blake turns around and looks into the cave and she turns to her left seeing a sign. "oh..no" Weiss walks over. "oh no what?..."

"it's possible for these things to still exist.." Blake pulls down the sign and shows it to weiss. "beware of daemons...h-hey i remember dr. oobleck mentioning something to do with these daemons before..but i thought they were extinct.

"yeah...but that was a long time ago weiss..before then he also said some how during then to now grimm some how developed from these things!..and a lucky few are still alive!." Both blake and weiss turns looking into the cave,without noticing one of the white fang members crawls away badly wounded holding his chest.

"..gotta..r-report..back!.." he says silently as he turns the corner hiding behind the bushes continuing crawling."

Meanwhile back in the Cave

Ruby finishes off the last one as she and yang was panting heavily as it felt like these beings keep coming out of no where. "h-hey!..ruby listen.." They both went silent as they heard static noises as it was close. "we're close and it must be coming from that way!." Ruby runs over to the static noises and as she turns the corner she was insanely jumpscared by another daemon as she runs back and clings onto yang. 'AHHH!!...GO AWAY!!"

Yang rolls her eyes as she shoots from her gauntlets finishing off the last daemon,yang lifts up her leg and tries to shake off ruby. "ruby let go..it's gone!." Ruby opens one of her eyes and blinks. "i-it is?..." ruby let's go falling onto the ground as she got back up quickly. "alright then!..see that was not to hard!" ruby triumphantly walks towards where she was going before being jump scared as yang follows sighing and also chuckling a bit.

Both ruby and yang approaches which looked like a tree molded against the wall as static strikes out from it a bit. "hey ruby i found more of these material things.." Yang carefully picks them up as it was the lightning crystals. "Oooo!..take some before we leave...it be helpful just like that ice material i found!.." Ruby says before she turns back to the stone and slowly reaches her hand out towards it as soon she touches it thunder begins going out of control as ruby held onto the tree her eyes begin to turn purple.

"Ruby you okay?!.." Yang says putting the lightning crystals into her pocket. "i-i'm fine!..so much to take i-" ruby's eyes widens as she see's a vision of someone being here before her wearing a full black attire and sharp black hair. "......" as the thunder stops ruby looks at herself as she was glowing purple for a few seconds before it stops and looks at her hand seeing the mark of ramuh.

"...you got ramuh's mark ruby?.." Ruby held up her hand to show yang. "......" Yang cheers lightly before she hugs ruby as she was left with a blank expression. "h-hey yang..i had another of those visions again.."

"Hmm?.." Yang let's go of ruby and looks at her. "you did what did you see?.."
"i saw someone..it looked like he was here before us a long time ago..."

"really huh?..it must be the king from that picture we saw back at beacon academy..him and his friends was it?.." Yang recalls back towards it. "yeah..must be him..."

"let's not worry about that..let's get out of here." Yang softly grabs ruby's hand as she leads the way out of the cave to rejoin up with weiss and blake.

Minutes Later

The 2 walks back out of the cave as it was back to being sunny and open clear blue skies. "aww...this is much better." Yang looks up towards the sky,ruby looks around and see's weiss and blake were gone. "hey..where did weiss and blake go?!"

Yang looks around and noticed also looks down at the knocked out white fang members and noticed one of them was missing. "One of them got away!!" Yang eyes shifts back to red as she runs down the path hopefully weiss and blake are there as ruby follows behind.

As yang was running down the path in full of rage they bumped into blake and weiss. "there you guy's are!.." Weiss looks towards yang and ruby. "One of them managed to escape!!.." Yang yells at both blake and weiss.

"that's why we was running back t-" Suddenly the white fang ship takes off from the ground as the lift off shutters wind around the area. "he's escaping!!.."

"he must be heading back to his base!..we have to follow him!" Ruby yells as the team ran back towards there car and quickly begins to follow the ship from the ground. "we're finding out we the hell white fang's base is as one way or another!" Yang has her foot fully on the gas peddle. "yang be careful!..you don't want to blow up the engine again!.." Yang slowly calms down and backs up on the force but trying to keep up in the same pace as the ship above them.

"you got the mark ruby?.." Weiss turns to ruby as zwei barks. "yes!.." ruby reveals the mark on her hand.

"Yang what exactly you think we're gonna do once we find there base huh?..just walk right in?!."
"n-no!..ma-..damn it!!" Yang tries to calm herself down. "okay..listen once we find there base..i suggest we make a plan..alright?..all of us."

Ruby,Weiss nods as yang looks over from the side of her eye still following the ship. "f-fine..let me guess.."

"Yes...we're gonna sneak into the base." Ruby leans over the seat to blake. "but blake ain't you worried about tha-" "i am worried..ruby but i fear for us and our friends...since it's now been confirmed that they placing bounties on our heads..they just made this personal!..we will make then regret that!."

Blake says in bit angry tone. "..if this is the only place they have to retreat there..let's make sure that entire base is left in rubble!" Blake looks at everyone as they all nod agreeing with her,zwei moves up and licks blake on the cheek barking happily towards her. "...thanks zwei." Blake smiles a bit holding her cheek.
