Chapter 27: Inner Guilt

After succesfully obtaining the mark of the leviathan,Ruby woken from her coma seeing a minor injured blake after explaining nora is in critical condition along with penny and pyrrha taken by white fang.

Thanks to yang our heroes managed to find where they are taken and where torhwick is at, the forgotten imperial city under new management by white fang, as of right now the place is populated but it's mostly white fang roaming around.

with ruby and her friends about to leave altissia a vengeful jaune comes along as he felt it was his
fault that pyrrha was taken, as he was told by ren that he and nora will be in altissia for a while until nora is better.

Now our heroes are off as the 2nd half of they're journey begins setting straight forward for gralea while taking a stop for the final astral...shiva the glacian....

Niflheim, On a Train 8:28 am

Team RWBY and Jaune was sitting down near one another on both opposite rows
of seats, along with other residents on the train as well.

Weiss was carefully taking care of blake's ear as blake carefully watches her feeling a bit of pain,yang watches as she looks over to ruby as zwei was laying on her lap.

"......." Jaune looks out the window towards the sky, he then slowly stood up and begins to walk to a different part of the train. "jaune where you're going?.." Ruby turns her head over to him as he stood there silent gripping his fist.

"i-i'm just gonna...nevermind." Jaune refuses to answer ruby as he walks down the aisle. "......."


"let him be ruby..he's still sore about what happen.." Yang crosses her arms looking to ruby. "..i know but...i feel like it's my fault.."

Yang slowly grips onto her arms. "...if they had not called us..they would not be here like this.." Ruby looks down tries to not cry.

"will you stop it!.." Yang get's up from her seat and walks over to ruby. "they knew what they got themselves into ruby!..and they still came!!" Yang yells towards ruby.

Ruby looks towards yang still holding back her tears. "b-b-but..it was m-"

Yang's eyes instantly shifts into red as she angrily grabs hold of ruby. "both of you stop now!.."

Blake says looking towards the two as weiss cuts in between them both. "now's not the time for this yang..just let it be" Weiss nervously looks up at yang,as she pushes weiss out of the way making her fall onto the ground.

"h-hey!.." Weiss get's back up, and walks back towards yang. "weiss..i swear..you better stay a-" Weiss then slaps yang viciously as she let's go of ruby.

Both ruby and blake's eyes widens as yang backs away holding her cheek. "y-you!..y-you!!.." Yang activates her gauntlets and was about to punch weiss before being stopped.

"hey stop this now!.." Yang looks over to her side and notices it was noctis,as he pushes her back. "Listen i seen this before..i don't want you guy's to turn on each other...specially you yang!."

".........." Yang looks at everyone and noticed a few bit of people on the train took notice of the matter. "........." Yang turns away walking out to a different part of the train slamming the door behind her.

"........" Noctis turns back towards ruby,weiss and blake. "weiss you did the right thing..you needed that."

Weiss wipes herself off and sighs. "yeah..b-but you saw everything did you?." Noctis nods. "i understand all of you are going through a rough time right now..but remember you guy's are a team."

"B-but..it was my fault our friends are hurt noctis.." Ruby says letting out a few tears sniffling a bit. "..i know but they did what was right..and that was helping you guy's obtain levianthan's mark..but at the end they suffered for it..." Noctis looks at the three.

"now..i'll go talk with yang alright..i will make sure she is calmed down once we arrive at our first stop.." Noctis says before turning around as he passes through the door heading to the next part of the train.

"..i'm guessing o-our first stop is?..." Ruby looks towards blake. "..it's the statue of where the glacian is at..some info says it's her corpse"

"C-corpse?!.." Weiss shrieks thinking about it.. "if it's a statue..t-that big..then i can't imagine what it would look like."

"where is it gonna be at?.." Ruby walks over and sits in front of blake and weiss. "..it's outside of gralea..if i recall the place used to be a desert before she came..now it's just a frozen tundra trapped in a snowstorm..so expect if the train stops when we there due to the ice or any grimm lurking around."

Both ruby and weiss nods. "should we ask noctis about the place..once he comes back?..he should know."

"it's up to you ruby.." Weiss says before she noticed jaune back from his walk taking a seat where he was at.

The three looks over to him worried and concerned. "jaune you alright?.."

Jaune looks over for a couple of seconds but refuses to answer back towards them. "leave him be ruby..."

In a different part of the train

Yang was looking out the window as her eyes shifts back to it's normal color, noctis then approaches her as he stood next to her looking out the window. "mind..telling me why you went off by there?.."

"....ruby was right..i felt a bit guilty myself but i just didn't want to admit it.." yang looks over to noctis. "also..what did you mean you seen this before?..."

Noctis sighs thinking back. "well..me and my friends were on this exact same train long ago..we were heading to gralea as well..it involved me a lot seeing..someone close to me just die right in front of me..."

"......." Yang frowns looking at noctis, "what happened next?.."

"..i got into a fight with one of my friends..didn't go to well..we didn't made up until much later..i had to accept my responsibilities as king back then...but look where i'm at now..helping you guy's the same road i took.."

"...must have been rough for you back then was it?." Noctis turns towards yang and chuckles a bit. "yeah it was..."

"what about your friends?..are they still around?...or what was the last time you saw them?.." Yang asks concerned.

Noctis closes his eyes recalling to his final moments with his friends. "...outside the citadel before restoring light to the world...i don't know if they are alive or not...but i still remember the fond moments me and them shared.."

Yang slowly smiles before standing up as noctis notices. "i-i'm heading back to ruby and the others..i-i glad i had this talk with you noctis.." She smiles as noctis puts his hand on her shoulder. "no problem..." Noctis says before disappearing as his time was up again.

Yang blinks softly as she smiles holding her shoulder softly before turning around heading back towards the others, someone from the next part of the train peeks through the window with a familiar red strain of hair peaking out before backing away.

Ruby,Weiss,Blake,Jaune and zwei was asleep sitting in they're seats as yang arrives back,she noticed the three was asleep as she was about to sit down with them but thought they maybe still mad at her.

"....they might be still mad..." Yang sighs as she sits on the opposite side where jaune was sitting at and slowly crosses her arms. "....i'm sorry guys.." Yang says calmly over to ruby,weiss and blake hoping they heard it while they were asleep.

Yang slowly closes her eyes falling asleep on her own,from the side of ruby's face she opens one of her eyes noticing yang staring at her for a bit before falling back to sleep.
